The aim of the messy Monday workshop was to work quickly and lose control in a way of our preconception of our project. I did struggle with this as it took a lot of research before I oddly start making anything because of the scientific aspect and need for authenticity. This lack of time for research meant the facts involved in the new things I came up with were mostly bullshit or just based on vague pre knowledge. I really liked the style of working in a short space of time and with something random as it forced me to think outside of what I was doing but I don't think anything I came up with was better than ideas I had already for my project as the idea of the pharmacy is quite cohesive. it is something I would like to look at given more space and time create something lie a proper department store where there can be a wider range of products. it also made me think of other products involved in love which lead me to the idea of makeup involved in my line so that was probably the most useful outcome of the day. it started me thinking about chocolate too which I could possibly look into but I'm worried about over stretching the range of things I do might detract from the quality of the product.
